I was very disappointed with the outcome of the multi-cultural activity last night. Okay, first of all, we got there seven minutes late. We found parents, children and teacher and staff in the cafeteria eating desserts from different country. I didn't see any children's presentation as what the program said. The, people are busy eating and nobody even bothered to take the dessert I brought, so I decided to take it home with me. Then, there's this thing going on in the library selling gifts for Christmas. To me, it was a scam! Yes, they are pretty cheap from .99 cents to $15; but how would my 5 year old son picks a present for grandma and grandpa? I need to be there for my son and pick which one would be perfect for them as well as for me and Daddy. So, I ended up buying it myself. I spent $20.20 for Jake gifts to us...not bad! Anyway, I learned my lesson not to go attend that activity again next year. No wonder why I didn't see a single Filipino family there. No pictures taken on that event, sorry!

oh sorry to hear that Cecs, I guess, mas enjoy pa rin kasama ang mga Filipino kesa sa mga iba. Well, that's just my opinion.
ReplyDeletethat's too bad... at least next year alam mo na ano ang mangyayari sa mga ganyang activity...
