Saturday 9: Elected

1. Many of my friends have commented they cannot discuss politics with co-workers, family, friends and others without conflict rearing its ugly head. Do you feel you can talk with your family and friends about this particularly divisive election?
~~ Yes, I can...though we different opinions, we respect each other's point of views. That is how we avoid conflicts.
2. Do you know who you're voting for in next week's election? How did you decide?
~~ Nope. I didn't register to vote yet.
3. What do you think is the most important issue in next Tuesday's election?
~~ No idea.
4. Can you go a day without laughing?
~~ Nope, I love laughing.
5. Do you think that you can chose who you want to love?
~~ Yes, definitely!
6. Have you ever been on stage? For what?
~~ Yes, Choir Fest....I used to be a choir member when I was still single. Yup, we won't the contest :-).
7. Would you ever live in a different country? If yes, where?
~~ Yes. Italy.
8. Any plans for Halloween?
~~ Go trick or treating with my son.
9. The last costume that you wore, what was it and why did you choose it?
~~ Clown costume...to make kids laugh instead of being afraid.

I Love My New Hairdo

The other day, hubby and I went to a hair salon in Richardson. Yup, that was the city where we used to live. It was half an hour drive from where we live now. The trip was worth it for I finally found a hair salon that I like and will do whatever I want for my hair...not to mention that we only pay $65 for the haircut, highlights, shampoo or hair wash and styling it. The other salon price for all is 75 bucks! Ten bucks difference is a lot.

Thanks Honey for pampering me...and for the yummy lunch at Thai Resto after our salon trip. I had fun or we had fun, didn't we?

This is how my hair looks now.
with the highlights and all. I am loving it...like McDo, lol....just kidding about McDo!

My New Winter Shoes

Thanks to my many sponsored posts, I finally bought two items on my wish lists. These are the boots I bought at amazon.com last month. The first one was the Skecher to be worn when we spend Christmas at my in-laws in New Mexico, and the other one from Lite Stride...for church. I love them both and mind you they didn't cost me much; paid $100 plus tax. I couldn't wait till the snow comes....so I can ear these two.

How about you? Are you excited for winter?

Preparing for Christmas

I don't know why but I am fascinated with gold jewelry. So when I buy jewelry, I made sure it is made of gold. Hubby on the other hand buys me jewelry made of silver. Later on he realized himself that he married a woman who prefers gold jewelry. Now he never buy me any jewelry at all since I don't wear them but the ones I bought when I was still single. The other week we talked about the gold jewelry in my jewelry box and he made a joke saying that we can make money for gold . As I think about it now, why not? Since Christmas is fast approaching, we need extra money to buy gifts for our loved ones. I haven't talk with hubby about my plan yet. Indeed, I can cash in my cash for gold!

Parent's Choice Infant Formula is at Walmart.com

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

Some people prefer name brand stuffs than store brand. They think brand name products including infant formula is better than store brand. That kind of thinking is not always true. We heard and read on the news that even the most expensive brand name baby formula was recalled for it was contaminated with something hazardous to infant's body or health. Let say Similac, it is believed that it contain beetles larvae or things like that. This is disappointing, isn't it. That is one of the reason why hubby and I still buy store brand foods. Consumer report even like some store brand products such as store brand formula, cookies, and more. These things are not only great tasting and healthy, but also less expensive. Store brand formula is sold at your favorite retailer store like as Walmart, Sam's, Target, Walgreens, Babies r us and CVS.There are store brand infant formulas sold at retailers including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, Kroger, Walgreens, CVS, and Babies “R” Us; plus they contain the same nutritional value like the other brand name infant formula.

If I were you, I would switch to generic formula for they are also safe, and is FDA approved, too! Parent's Choice Advantage Infant Formula is similar to Similac Advance. They both contain prebiotics to help support baby’s immune system. They contain all nutrients, vitamins and minerals for growth and development including DHA and ARA, which may support brain and eye development. The only difference is the price for brand name formula is always expensive than the other. So, if you care enough for your child's safety, check the formula's lot number to make sure it is not part of the recalled lot. The same thing you need to do with their toys, clothing, foods and etc...
